2010 Two Rivers Time Trial Training Series

6:30 PM Thursday Nights, April 8 – June 3, No Race on May 27
The Courses:
Course A will be used April 8 – 29.
This is a flat out and back, 6.4 mile course that starts 200 meters to the south of the railroad tracks on Pinnacle Valley Road. From the start the course heads east to Two Rivers Park. At approximately mile 2.8 the course turns right and does a small loop and heads back to the finish.
Course B will be used May 6 – June 3.
This course is 8.6 miles and has the same start as course A. It, too, heads east to Two Rivers Park, does the loop inside the park and heads west out of the park. At mile approximately 5.8, just west of the big brick yellow house, the course turns south on Pinnacle Valley Road for about a mile before it turns west. The finish is at the entrance to the Pinnacle Mountain Visitor Center.

Entry Fee: $5.00, On-site registration only. Registration starts at 5:30.
Scoring:
Your score for a single TT is computed from the total number of racers you beat plus 1. The more people who participate means there are more points to be earned. You can earn an extra 5 bonus points for beating your previous personal best time for a given course for this year.
Score = 1 + # of racers beat + bonus
For example, you have a time faster than 18 other racers but didn’t beat your personal best time for the year, you would earn 19 points.

Directions and Parking:
From the intersection of Cantrell (Highway 10) and I-430, head west for 1.6 miles. Turn right on Pinnacle Valley Road and head south for 1.6 miles. Turn left and continue on Pinnacle Valley Road for 0.2 miles and park at the Ludwig Law Firm parking lot. The start is about a mile north on Pinnacle Valley Road just south of the railroad tracks.
USA Cycling license is required. Day of race licenses will be available for purchase (senior men category 5, women and juniors only).
